Big Changes

As part of his own practice, Edward Pinder has moved his main office to Parkville, Maryland and created The Pinder Legal Team.   The new office, at 7602 Harford Road, is conveniently located three miles south of Beltway Exit 31A on Harford Road, and half a block from the intersection of Harford Road and Taylor Avenue (directly across from the Parkville Shopping Center).

Our team's goal is to take away the stress caused by being involved in a legal matter.  We understand how an unexpected event requiring legal assistance can be confusing and frustrating.  We have the knowledge, training, and experience to handle every detail of your case in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

Ed is a 1986 graduate of the University of Baltimore, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Law Review.  He received his under-graduate degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.

Pinder is a former president of the Idlewood Community Association and past member of the School Improvement Team for Pine Grove Elementary.  He is also the Commissioner of the Parkville Girl's Softball Program and received official recognition from the Maryland General Assembly in 2001 for volunteering his time to help the Parkville community.

A Winning Team

In sports, it is difficult to find an expansion team that becomes a winner in its first year.  It often takes several years for a team to attain the right balance of organization, experience and commitment to become a consistently winning team.  We are very excited to be the exception to the rule--we are having a great winning season in our first year.  As of November 2002, we opened more new cases than we did in all of 2001!  Most of these cases are referrals from existing or past clients, which is especially flattering.  The Pinter Legal Team truly appreciates your confidence in our abilities.  Some clients come to our team as referrals form other attorneys.  It is nice to think that those attorneys know we can help their clients in times of need.

We have a team approach in our office.  You are the "owner" of your case--you inform us, update us, and tell us of your goals and expectations.  The staff are the players on the field--in the "trenches"--doing the unsung work that is required to make the team successful.  They listen, respond, and organize your case, and then they motivate our attorneys to do their best for you.  If you know Ed, you know he is not big on formalities.  However, he is BIG on treating you like you want to be treated.

We feel honored that you chose this office to work on your case, and we will do everything we can to earn that honor.

Minimal Impact Auto Accident Cases

To improve bottom lines, auto insurers routinely deny accident injury claims.  They often argue that "if a car isn't structurally damaged, how could drivers or passengers, protected by seat belts and airbags, claim serious harm?"

However, studies show that even minor fender-benders can result in serious medical problems.  We all know that, but people involved in minor-impact accidents sometimes need help in convincing insurance companies to be responsive and fair.

Trial lawyers know insurers' tactics, but they also understand the seriousness of slow-speed accident injuries.  They are experienced in evaluating injuries and obtaining fair recompense for those who suffer such injuries.

An attorney may ask physicians, who are experts at identifying and treating serious and traumatic bodily harm, to testify.  Personal injury lawyers, aware of their clients' valid claims, how hot to explain them to juries, as well as communicate the need for fair compensation.  They know best how to secure and present eyewitness testimony and physical evidence to support their plaintiffs' cases.  Attorneys can also help evaluate settlement offers.

Verdicts and settlements won for our clients

From time to time, we would like to share with you some recent recoveries our firm has earned for clients.

$75,000 - Won for Pasadena mother who developed thoracic outlet syndrome and underwent surgery following a car accident on Ritchie Highway.  The insurance company's last offer was $20,000.

$140,000 - Workers' Compensation settlement for a 62 year old brick mason who fell into a ditch and sustained a back injury.  The case was settled on the date of the hearing.  The previous offer had been $75,000.

Please contact our firm to fight for your rights if harmed or injured in any way.

Lawsuit outcomes may vary.  All verdicts and settlements are based on the individual facts of each case.
